Tailgating Timeline

Based on a 7:30 p.m. game. Adjust if your team is playing earlier for maximum tailgate ability.

NIGHT BEFORE: Prep your food the best you can so it’s ready to go tomorrow. Make sure you have plenty of ice in the cooler so it doesn’t spoil.

10:30 AM: Fire up the EGG, fill your cooler with cold ones & set up the Bean Bag Toss.

11 AM: Prep your food. Put on EGG once food is ready to cook. Things are about to smell GOOD.

NOON: It’s lunch time! Make sure everyone around smells how fantastic your food is.

1:30 PM: Time to break out the Bean Bag Toss and grab a cold one…or two.

2:15 PM: Make friends with the fans in the spot next to you. Let them sample some of your jealousy-inducing food because they’re rooting for the same team.

3:30 PM: See rival fans drive by looking for a spot. You’re out of samples to share…darn! If you have a TV or radio, catch a 3:30 game.

4 PM: Toss some more food on the EGG. Get ready for dinner because you can’t go to a football game hungry!

5 PM: Dinner is served! Close the vents so the EGG can adequately cool before you head into the stadium.

6:45 PM: MAKE SURE THE EGG IS COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE PUTTING IN YOUR CAR. Head off to see your team win!

7:30 PM: Kickoff!
