POLYWOOD Rocking Chair Style Guide

Polywood Rocker Style Guide

As the end of summer approaches, we’re all looking forward to enjoying fall weather in a comfortable rocking chair with a hot cocoa in hand. If you’re in the market for your first rocking chair or hoping to add to your collection, you’re in luck! POLYWOOD has many options, traditional or Adirondack, that will work with any outdoor space.

And right now at HOMEFIELD, you can save up to 60% on any in-stock POLYWOOD patio furniture, while supplies last.

Here’s a brief look at what kinds of rockers that POLYWOOD sells:

Presidential Rocker

POLYWOOD’s most popular rocker, the Presidential Rocker is their only traditional style rocker available in both traditional and vibrant lumber colors. It’s shorter in overall height compared to the Jefferson Rockers, with a seat just a half an inch closer to the ground.

Jefferson Rocker

POLYWOOD’s Jefferson Rocker is a more traditional rocker – one you’d typically picture on a southern porch. Regardless of where you live, this rocker may be most comfortable for taller individuals while also providing the largest seat.

Classic Adirondack Rocker

The Classic Adirondack Rocker is modeled after POLYWOODs most-popular adirondack with a seat that is lowest to the ground of all our rockers. If you’re looking for a laid-back rocker with a beachy vibe, this is the chair you want.

The Seashell Adirondack Rocker provides the roomiest seat of all of POLYWOOD’s adirondack rockers and is only available in traditional lumber colors. Like the Palm Coast style this rocker features wider rocker feet profiles, but also a unique waterfall front (very comfortable behind your knees!) and seven back slats.

Just slightly heavier than the Long Island Adirondack Rocker, the South Beach Adirondack Rocker is almost identical in size and style (this seat is more upright as well), but features the curved South Beach style back rest with five slats.
